Fashion Island Hotel Newport Beach
We wanted to do a little weekend staycation close to the cousins so we did a little research and decided to try the Fashion Island Hotel in Newport Beach. From arrival to departure, we were impressed with their excellent staff and the beautiful touches of this luxury hotel. The hotel still feels new due to the 18 month transformation that happened a few years ago.
We started the day by visiting their fitness center. It was modern and clean. If you want a more intense workout, you can take one of their classes or book a personal trainer. Monday early morning they have a Bootcamp workout.
We ate at the hotel some days and at Fashion Island mall across the street on other days. The food at the hotel is excellent. I'm vegan and my kids are picky eaters and everyone was happy. There are so many things to do in the area. There is a luxury cinema across the street, you can rent a bike and get to know Newport Beach or visit the nearby beaches. We loved just relaxing at their beautful pool. And I snuck in a little shopping therapy here and there. Fashion Island is one of the best malls in the area.
The 11th floor is considered the hotel's hypoallergenic floor. NASA engineered the flooring to reduce allergens by 99%. They also only use all natural and earth friendly products to deep clean the rooms. It's pretty cool for those suffering from allergies this time of year!
They are planning a Mother's Day Celebration that sounds wonderful. They will be transforming their ballroom and the celebration will include live music, a flower wall with a photographer, kids activity stations and a brunch that includes some serious deliciousness. We will definitely come back to this hotel for a staycation! Loved it! For more information on the Fashion Island Hotel, please visit their website.
